I’m an Exercise Physiologist and Certified Personal Trainer, based in San Francisco. In 2011, I founded an exclusive personal training company, Outback Fitness. I’m a passionate personal trainer, writer and very excited to help you become the best possible version of yourself!
In The Beginning
I grew up in a small town in Australia. As a little Aussie, I’ve always had a passion for exercise and playing team sports. Growing up, we’d run free across the sun burnt outback with Vegemite toast in one hand and a cricket bat in the other.
When I chose to complete a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, I knew I was on the right track to finding my purpose in life. I majored in Health & Sports Science and won an award for excellence in Vocational Performance. I loved it. It was challenging, but an excellent opportunity to learn from top researchers and lecturers in the field. Following graduation in 2006, as an Exercise Physiologist, I worked at exercise rehabilitation hospitals, as an insurance rehabilitation consultant, as well as major health clubs, outdoor fitness group training, and coaching high school sports. Basically, I’ve experienced working with clients of all fitness levels and capabilities throughout my career.
Change = Growth
In 2009, I moved to New York City. Initially, I started working as a Personal Trainer at a top exclusive private training studio in the Upper East Side. While I was working there, I not only gained excellent experience but also my Health & Fitness Specialist certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Other qualifications I gained to diversify my skill set included a TRX certification and Kettlebell instructor certification.
In 2015, I moved to San Francisco to begin the West Coast chapter. And I’m super excited!

To get optimal results, you need a holistic approach to transformation. It really comes down to this. You have two options for every decision you make: you can either take a step closer towards your goal, or further away from it. In theory this sounds simple. But in reality, it’s seriously complex. People tend to focus too much on one thing, and not the other.
Often, this swinging back and forth leads to zero progress.
Basically there is no consistency, in either direction. This approach becomes awfully tiresome and demotivating after a while. Without accountability and guidance in the right direction, your progress is slow and results?
Well. They’re non-existent.
I’m here to help you make the right choices. I want you to feel confident you will succeed. The right combination of mindset, exercise and nutrition is best and everyone is capable of change and transformation. I have spent my life ‘testing’ and perfecting the balance of fitness AND fun — exercise is for life so it should be an enjoyable activity. It may be tough in the moment, but difficult times will always pass and you get an amazing feeling of achievement.
